SVIM is known for its practical approach towards the learning and development of students. Industrial Visit focuses on preparing the students to learn about the day-to-day workings of a particular industry and understand its operational issues. The visit also helps the students to keep update regarding the current management practices followed by the organizations and acquire traits that the industry demands from them. 3Adani – MundraPort and SEZ Ltd. Date: 27 & 28 November, 2015Students have visited power generation process at power plant and understood how thermal power is generated. Whereas in Adani Wilmar’s plant they got knowledge of production process of edible oil and packing process of edible oil in pouches, pet jars and tins. They also came to know about the manufacturing process of vanaspati ghee. During the visit of Adani port, students came to know about the import and export of various commodities that are being done through the ports of India.
4Amul Dairy, Anand Date: 23rd Sep. 2015Students understood the working structure of co-operative, learnt about the white revolution, and observed and learned batch output production technique of butter.
5Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd Date:5th January, 2015They have seen video on safety practices adopted at the Coca Cola Plant. Students have also visited their bottling facilities and learn about the plant facility and layout and best practices of Coca Cola.
6Balaji Wafers Pvt. Ltd Date: 7th October, 2014Students have seen manufacturing of Farali Chivda at the plant. Students have also seen the whole value chain of Balaji Wafers’ Valsad plant through informative video. Mr. Kanubhai Virani, Technical Director have shared his knowledge to enlighten the students.
7Kadvani Forge Pvt Ltd Date: 7th October, 2014It is Gujarat’s biggest forge company. In this plant visit students got exposure of hardcore mechanical production work. Mr. Vijay Nagar, HR Executive had guided students.
